So Petry, Chairot, and Kulak were Oilers, Jets, Flames bottom pairing dmen now look real good on the Habs team. Guess only one series, but still find it funny. They just need a Ben Hutton from Vancouver to collect the set lol

I can just imagine the conspiracy theories if the Penguins are to win.

Chairot made huge strides for the Jets last year. He was a middle pairing guy for us.

Staples will write an article about anti-grease bias regardless of who gets Laffy if it ain't the Dumpsterville Pee-Blossoms.

Byron's been gone for 5 years. Time to let him go. It's the only way to heal

I'm not a conspiracy guy in the least, but it sure would be frustrating. Some franchises, and we all know who they are, seem destined to tumble ass-backwards into amazing talent again and again either due to geography or sheer dumb luck - while teams like the Flames have to continually fight against the odds to build competitive teams.
If there's any justice in the world, Laf will go to the Preds or Wild.

Certainly not. I don’t need Crosby, Malkin and Lafrieniere running around together on the same team.

uh between that happening or the Leafs/Oilers getting him, I'm fine with that.
Winnipeg would be nice too.

So if Oilers and Leafs lose, there is 3/8 chance that #1 overall goes to either of those two or to Pittsburgh. Ugh.

Best case scenario by far is LaF goes to Florida and we hear his name twice a year on Sportscentre.

Pens are on the decline, so them winning is not the worst IMO.

Definitely not the worst, but they've had way more than their fair share of superstar forwards. Spread the wealth.

Is Lafreniere as good as you all are making him out to be? I don't see a superstar here, I just see a normal-level 1OA.

Help, save, whatever.

Hockey is a crapshoot. Literally any team can beat any other team. Hot goalie, bad bounces, missed calls, etc.

I'd move NYR further down the list. They'll have no problem at all sniping great players from other teams, they don't need help from the draft too.

I cant stand the Penguins. Id like to see them have a decade like the Oilers did where they become the laughing stock of NA sports. When your on record for purposely tanking for Mario and you "win" the Crosby lottery when your on the brink of moving your franchise, one has to wonder. Gross team. Too may cups...too many Top 10 players of all time (probably 4 of the top 15 forwards *points wise* ever at the end of it all 3 for sure in the top 10 all time). Just gross. Let a team like Minnesota/Nashville/Florida win the lottery.
Pens are the Oilers of the east.
