I've been laughing for a week since I saw the first one. I'm impressed that they were in the same room together. I had heard that Roy had forgiven him years ago, but I wasn't sure I believed it.

I saw an interview last week with the two of them where they both admitted everything had gone on for far to long and was unnecessary.
Both of them were at fault to begin with but refused to admit it.
Cant stand either of them myself.

Wow, they really went there in the French version...
(After Tremblay scores to go up 9-1)
Mario Tremblay : "Hey Pat you should pull your goalie, he seems tired."
Patrick Roy : "I think he's still good for two more championships."

If the Canadiens didnt hire Tremblay, or that night didnt happen... how many cups would MTL won? Maybe there is no long canadian cup curse!
I don't remember the Canadiens in the mid 90s to early 2000s to be a particularly top-tier team. Roy would've made them better, but multiple cup winners? Not sure I see it.

Considering '93 is probably the greatest example of one player single-handedly winning a Stanley Cup that we've ever seen... it's not outside the realm of possibility that they could have won a couple more with him at some point.

They weren’t even c,lose the next year under Demers. And the Vigneault teams were just woefully undermanned. When your leading scorer is Martin Rucinsky with 49 points in 80 games…
And don’t forget they had a goalie who was a Hart winner in 2001-02

It was a terrible trade, the return ruined the Habs for years to come. They needed to tweak the roster for sure.
I just remember how pissed off I was. I had my plane ticket, was going to Montreal for the last game at the Forum and they trade the best goalie in hockey for a bag of used jockstraps. Ugh.

Yes, because not only did they trade Roy, going with him was captain Mike Keane, because he wouldn't learn french. Ronald Corey destroyed that team.
