Shapo won set 1 despite only getting 52% of first serves in. If only he could find some consistency there... dude has 210 aces to 157 double faults this year.

Denis is into the semi-finals at Queen's Club and will play Cam Norrie later today after dispatching Frances Tiafoe 6-3 6-4

Well, we'll see if Felix holding serve from 15-40 down turns this match around. He's still down a break in set 2 however.
Edit: Felix does indeed break Humbert in the very next game.

Tennis is a funny game - Humbert had two break points to go up 4-1 in set 2 and essentially close things out, instead Felix rolls off five straight games to take the second set 6-3. We need a deciding set.

Felix saves a couple of match points - 5-5 and we play on in set 3.

Darn, the 5th match point was the clincher for Humbert to take the match. Oh well, Rublev is the king of 500s, I'll be shocked if he doesn't win the title tomorrow.

Felix played very well, I fully expect a good run at Wimbledon. Shapo also out but he also had to play earlier today. Praying to the draw God's the Canadians don't face each other in the 3rd round or something stupid .

Felix just needs to be more clinical on those break point opportunities (to be fair, Humbert stepped up and served very well on some of those break points). Both guys played well today and grass may turn out to be Felix's best surface.

Felix not quite done in Halle as he and Hubert Hurkacz are into the doubles final following an upset win over the 5th seeded team of Putz/Venus 7-6 6-2

Darn it, that's tough news. Hopefully we'll see the big man for the North American hard court swing including the US Open.

Well, I'm shocked as Ugo Humbert takes the Halle title defeating Rublev 6-3 7-6. Quite the week for the youngster from France.

It's funny to me that most French players are good on grass and suck on clay. You'll see that most of them in their careers have gone farther at Wimbledon than at Roland Garros. A Frenchman has won Roland Garros once since 1946 (Yannick Noah in 1983)

I should also add that Felix and Hubert ran into a hot doubles team in the Halle final and lost in straight sets. Still, a couple of good weeks on the grass in Germany (two final appearances and a semi-final appearance) for Felix.
