Yeah player A is having a solid bounce back year, and he was touted as a D first guy, so if he has a strong glove he may carve out a MLB career. Hopefully he can be Cavan Biggio but with better defense.
To be fair though, he's doing this at 24 years old, where as player B had those AAA numbers at 19 years old.

Yeah while Smith is having a nice/great year - BIG difference doing it at 24 vs 19.
Smith could be a great trade chip to sell high on for a big arm at the deadline/offseason if he keeps it up.

Springer time tonight. Hopefully he can stay healthy for a while.

That's pretty awesome of Springer. Probably said that because he knows Montoyo is an idiot and would have bumbled everything.
Looking forward to what the 30 million dollar man can bring to the lineup again. I would like to see the Jays win at least 6 of the next 8 to finish the month and see where they stand heading into July.

Wow they suspended Manoah for 5 games for "intentionally throwing". Really?
I realize it's one start but still.

That's ####ing wild. An accident turns into a suspension.
And yet the Trashtro's cheated for at least 3 seasons and not a player missed a single game. Manfred and his clowns are a joke.

Wow the league must have felt they needed to do something after the benches cleared. Clear message from the league for pitchers to stay on the mound.

I'm not a fan of pitchers throwing at guys so I'm ok with this. He gives up back to back dingers, IIRC the 3rd and 4th he'd given up in the game, and the next guy gets drilled.
Maybe it was an accident, but I have my doubts. He also didn't do himself any favors walking towards home plate the way he did. It looked aggressive for a guy who had accidentally just hit someone.
Love Manoah and I love his passion, but nobody should have to get hit with a 95+mph fastball because his team mates have done what they're supposed to do, and that's hit the ball hard.

It's not even a start. At worst it is a one-day delay on his start, but even that is unlikely as there are off days and the Jays seem to like having their pitchers throw on day 6 (calendar days).
If they want to suspend a starter, they need to make it 9 days.

The 5 days will mean that he will still pitch his regular, 5-day spot in the rotation on Friday, or at worst Saturday.
And either way, it will be against the Orioles again

Love you Bo but other teams have figured out that you swing out of your shoes on the first pitch and are throwing you junk. Two weak grounders on 2 pitches. Might need to make an adjustment or two.

Holy #### Vlad, what was that? Chest high easy catch and you drop it? Your bullpen needs your help, dude. Make it up to them with a homer.

Clutch hit by Lourdes in the 9th. Lovely. Now just need to seal the deal in the bottom of the inning.

Mcgwire with a beauty throw to get the runner! He might be playing himself into the full time role
