didn't realize it had been renewed, but Black Summer 2 is on Netflix...
Its a fun zombie show that feels a little more urgent, imo, than other shows...it was also filmed locally in and around Calgary, so good to promote a local producation
Oh yeah, my son said they had filmed a bunch of scenes at Queen E last season.

Just started this the other day and the first scene with the 15 minutes or so of single camera panning action was amazing! Very 1917 like. Think I'll give this a chance since it was filmed locally.

Season 1 had some portions filmed by the Saddledome and McMahon stadium... i enjoyed it...very 'guerilla' film making style for sure
I think leaving NYC was a mistake, and he didn’t have the budget and right to continue the bits he had on NBC.
The lack of any budget is what made him, and early Letterman, fun to watch. I don’t think Conan needed to keep his old bits. There was good stuff, but he could’ve adapted.
He was good at first and then his comedy style just became vanilla, polished, uninteresting, unedgy. Were there any recent favourite moments?
His sketches and stuff didn't do it for me, but imo he was one of the best interviewers after Letterman because he doesn't fake laugh or make it cringy. If the guest is on a roll he lets them continue, if they're struggling he helps them out. Just has a knack for it

I really want to like M.O.D.O.K., but I just don't think I do.
I am just Patton Oswalted out. He seems to be interjecting himself into everything. Had to stop following him on Twitter too, everything is just an ad.

Entourage. Enjoyed it immensely. I remember hearing about it when it first came out but never saw any of it because I did not have HBO and always wanting to check it out. Damn, can't believe it was almost 18 years ago when it premiered. Now just got to watch the movie.

I'm a big fan and he's one of the few comedians I've always wanted to see live but never had the chance (I don't think he tours Canada), but I kind of agree. He's in everything lately.
I don't understand how M.O.D.O.K. is so well reviewed. Audience scores are significantly lower, however.

I've really been enjoying "Kevin Can ###### Himself".
I was a big fan of Annie Murphy's before, but she's done a great job in this role moving away from her character in Schitt's. And I really like that it's a new concept - moving between the classic sitcom to a dark comedy to tell the real story behind the sitcom wife.
