I think he hired Fuzz to build it. We should have a Summers of the Bunker thread any time now.

Out of everyone I've ever known, I'm the best at efficiently packing as much into a dishwasher while ensuring everything gets clean and I minimize the opportunity for water to collect in pot handles and such. I may take a video one day. I think you guys would be impressed.

Except that one time when I put my wife’s favorite Crystal serving platter in and it came out in multiple very clean pieces.
Oh wait…. I’m how many pages behind? Dagnabbit. That’s my actual gear grinder.

My kids stumbled on Flula Borg's version of Sweet Child 'o Mine ("Waninanuninuninu") and now it's highly requested by them.
It drives me nuts listening to it on loop for however long at a time, but I think I'm a little more sane than when they always demanded Cocomelon songs or Cocomelon story time.

That's why I have a rule in my house, if it can't go in the dishwasher, it goes in the garbage
I'm not hand-washing stuff, what is this, the 1800s?

We are coming at this from different angles.
I use dishes that can't go in the dishwasher as a way of exerting my dominance over my children.
I especially love relaxing on the couch while they do dishes.

Having to write up my own MBO Bonus Framework
I always undervalue myself or set unrealistic/unattainable goals.

The first rule of self evaluation is never be critical of yourself. Force you manager to have the uncomfortable part of the conversation. Set easy targets for you bonuses and make them make it harder.

Yeah, I don't disagree with you, but I feel if I set them too low it is me being a little bitch (I'm not phrasing that correctly, but hopefully you can piece together the intent.

That certainly is what your employer is relying on.

My kids are slowly emptying the nest and I have to be rather careful. When they aren't around everything goes in the dishwasher, which could tip them off that all the pots they washed by hand over the last few years were pretty much bull####.

As others have said...praise yourself to the highest peaks. Let someone else bring you down.
I have a quarterly review with my dept manager and he always asks how I am doing.
My response is that I am always doing great. And I always will say that.
I tell hime to guage my performance by asking the PM's and other colleagues that I work with.
Thats the real evaluation imo...

How is it possible that some airports/airlines do not have self service check-in machines for bag tags? Shouldn't have to wait in an hour long line to tag and drop bags. This is nonsense.

Fort Lauderdale with WestJet. We've flown into there many times but this is the first time flying out of there in a few years and their check-in experience seems very antiquated.
Also WestJet baggage in Calgary is still trash. We made it through Nexus CBSA 35 minutes ago and an FLL WestJet bag still hasn't hit the conveyor. I hate traveling with checked bags but as a family for over a week it is a necessity.
