I thought I might watch it but comments about the show (excellent but weird) aren’t selling it. I like weird but often weird turns out to be stupid.

Baby Reindeer is a tough watch but well done. I went into it thinking it was a dark comedy but the comedy gets dropped pretty quickly so you'll want to be in the headspace for some difficult scenes and themes.

I had no idea it was based on a true story and is written by the lead actor. His performance is great.

Agreed, it ####ing hits hard.

The lead actor/writer is the individual is is based on, his experiences.

I read that all messages/voicemails used in the show are actual emails/voicemails from the stalker.

Spoiler!

Yeah and the death match so early eliminates half the women also as they tend to pick each other.

If you like WWII stuff, The Zone of Interest about Auschwitz boss Rudolph Hoss is very interesting. It’s amazing how they could live life knowing people were being murderered right next door.

Watching Rebel Moon Part 2....it is not that good. The story and dialogue are so bad. It's like it was written by a high school kid with zero life and/or film making experience. The first part was fairly entertaining and masked a lot of those flaws.

I'm about half way through the second part, and it just feels like an inferior rehash of the first part. I'll continue watching, it's not awful to the point of being unwatchable. Just so bland. Maybe a good twist at the end will save it?

This is coming from someone who generally like Snyder's work, including the DC stuff.
