Awesome! They’re doing a teddy bear toss too down there?! Pelletier is on fire too, you love to see it!

I think Solyovov could be a bit of a sleeper pick. They interviewed Joe Cirella during the intermission, and Stockton's blue line is one of the best in the league. It's taken a little while for Solyovov to work his way into the lineup, but the coaching staff is quite high on his abilities.

Tuulola has these spurts where he's a monster power forward. If only he was consistent.

Has there ever been a goalie who started his pro career as good as Wolf?

After his disastrous first career start last year he's 15-0-2, 1.63 GAA and a 0.946 Pct

Edit: And this is without even a shutout!

  • Jakob Pelletier’s bear-summoning score came 3:12 into the second period. It was the second time that Stockton’s first goal for the Teddy Bear Toss game came in the second frame, and he’s the first rookie in team history to net the teddy bear marker. The score moved him into a tie for the team lead with Adam Ruzicka at 10 goals on the year.

  • Stockton’s point streak has reached 18 games (16-0-2-0) when Dustin Wolf starts. The team’s current overall point streak now sits at eight games (7-0-1-0), and the home point streak is at a team-record 13 games (11-0-2-0).

I saw on Heat TV that over the past month the team has scored more goals than against while shorthanded. Now that's impressive special teams!

I try not to get too excited about prospects until you see what they do with the big club but hard not to be thrilled about how this team is playing.

The idea that there could be a legitimate pipeline of talent for the big club kind is enticing. Would love to see a forward worked into the mix in Calgary and maybe have an impact for the playoffs on one of the bottom lines.

It's nice to see the AHL leading scorer after 7 years in the minors now has 2 assists in 2 games for the Hurricanes.

Love to see hard work pay off.

the last 27 PK opportunities, the opponent has scored zero goals, the Heat have scored 4

1 PP goal against in 43 PK opportunities. #1 PK in the AHL at 90.5%; that is 3.4% higher than the 2nd place team!
insane numbers

I have high hopes for Pellitier, Zary, Wolf and even still Valimaki down on the farm.

Toss in Coronato and Poirier and it seems we have pretty solid prospects at every position.

Pellitier-Zary-Coronato

Valimaki-Poirier

Wolf
