For some reason, Paramount blocks the promos and trailers in Canada and CTV just doesn't make them available, but for now, this trailer for the finale works...
A couple interesting things...
Spoiler!
Uhura in a standard Starfleet uniform rather than her Cadet uniform. This isn't really surprising since they've been teasing it all season, and obviously, we know what her future holds.
Chapel wearing a blue Starfleet uniform rather than her usual white. When she was first introduced, M'Benga said she was on a civilian exchange, so her change of uniform may indicate she has officially joined Starfleet.

Yeah...if they could just pump that directly into my veins...that'd be great.

I mean...realistically, they came across as animals, how did that achieve space flight?
It’s a bit perplexing. How does a species advance much when their goto move is to kill one another. Unless it’s kind of like that “infinite number of monkeys and typewriters” anything is possible.

Well we often wonder the same thing about the Klingons.
If you spend all your time killing each other, who is building warp engines and ships and all of the tech involved to even get to that point along the way?
But this was seriously...animals. I know they were young babies and everything, but...its just a stretch. They can easily write/talk their way out of it, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Its the ultimate in savage evolution. Only the strong survive in a battle of the youngsters. When they finally hit their adult level their desire to kill each other is burned out. Maybe they only kill their siblings.
So if they lay 4 eggs in a alien and 1 survives you get a whole species of equal alphas and they hit their final growth into adults where they go from instinct driven killing machines to sentient intelligent driven killing machines.
With the Klingon's they fight wars based on house dominance, with the strongest family taking the throne. The weakest families are probably little better then slaves.
Spoiler!
I really enjoyed the episode, yeah I agree with Locke, that death kind of hit hard, Hemmer was a good character, he became the wise old man of the crew.
La'an leaving even for a while is a bit strange as she's a central character with a yet fleshed out storyline.

Everyone agrees with Locke. This is The Way.

So when did the Gorn go from goofy bipedal lizards that Kirk can easily solo barehanded to xenomorphs that can completely obliterate a ship's crew with only a few hatchlings? And how is it a race of sentient killing machines isn't talked about ever again after TOS? I know Trek writers haven't been afraid of retcons, but this is kicking things up a notch
