This is more for my own curiosity than anything. I'm tracking overall In Vs Out during the Off-Season.

Now that you are improving your team for next season, I might not want your 1st anymore...

Make me an offer simmer! I'm looking for old washed up vets or talented young guys.

Ducks and Kings make a swap after talking a few different iterations.

TO KINGS
Crosby
Pick 110
3rd (CBJ) 23'

TO DUCKS
M. Stone
R. Suzuki
Pick 19

This is an interesting deal for both sides. LA gets some certainty with Crosby who had a great year.

I'm taking a gamble that Stone figures out his back issues. He's still young and a great player, but who knows.

I get Suzuki who is a reasonable 1st rnd prospect and another 1st this yr.

If Stone comes back and plays a full season this coming year, I win. If he has another year like this year, LA wins.

We shall see!

Thanks Harry Lime for the deal.

The kings were in the market for a third line center, and were sold a bill of goods on whoever Sad "Lad" Crosby is. We look at it as basically trading Suzuki and #19 for #110, which we were told was like two #1s and the crowd saying "òooooooo" afterwards.

TO LIGHTNING
Pick 12
2nd (BUF) 23'

TO DUCKS
Pick 9
3rd (TBL) 23'
$350k

I keep on trading 2nds and moving up in the draft.

I have a Top 9 and didn't want to risk not getting one of them...as the next group of guys I have all fairly similar rated...so should get 1 of them at 19.

Thanks agulati for the back and forth. You now have all my 2nds!!

Don’t have a first next year, so I guess loading up on picks for next year. Move down 3 spots to pick up a 2nd for next year. Hopefully ends up being a high 2nd.
