Going to Montreal...what should I do?
A buddy and I are flying out for a weekend sports trip to Montreal Saturday morning...Habs/Sens Saturday night followed by watching the BoA on TV, then Als/Bombers on Sunday.
Aside from the obligatory trip to La Club Super Sexe, what should we do in Montreal? (We fly back Monday night.) For example...where should we smoke meat up on Monday lunch?

take the subway, doesn't matter where, it's not like any other you'll be on.
if you like historic stuff, Basilique Notre-Dame in Old Montréal, if you like financial stuff there's the stock exchange which is kinda neat, if you like hiking go up Mont Royale, checking out the universities McGill, Concordia (both campuses) and UQAM is neat if you're into that sort of thing. There are the art galleries, and museums (don't forget Just for Laughs museum, and going through the Bell Centre, and visiting the old Montréal Forum).
It's been so long I'm trying to remember what else. If/when I think of other things I'll let you know.

Thanks for the suggestions Q Scout...
Has anybody ever done the Big O tour/trip up to the top of the tower there?

Yes, the view is awesome from up there, the Biodome is also very cool. Otherwise Parc d'Olympique sucks something awful (you might want to go just to see how bad it is). You'll wonder how a vibrant and alive city like Montréal can have part of it that is so lifeless and dead.
On the same note of being on the world stage, the Expo grounds primarily La Ronde is pretty sweet. You're also right by the casino if you're over there. I'm not big on casino's, it's bigger than the ones in Sydney and Halifax NS. So, I don't have a great comparison having never been in any other than those three.

If you like bonsai (and who doesn't like 400 year old tiny trees?!) the botanical garden right by the O has one of the best collections outside asia. Normally I'd highly recommend the botanical garden, but you'll be going in the offseason so it won't be fantastic unless you're really into horticulture.

You MUST eat lots 'cause the food there is friggin' amazing. You don't have much time, so pick and choose from the list below, but I suggest you take them all in and just eat smaller meals while there!
Breakfast: L'Avenue on Mont Royal - SO good but lineups always.
Sandwiches: Cafe Santropol on St-Urbain - awesome back patio and great sandwiches
Bagels: St-Viateur Bagel on Mont Royal - short walk from L'Avenue - wicked bagels
Poutine: La Banquise - 24 hours
Dinner: Au Pied de Cochon on Duluth Avenue - great French food
Smoked Meat: Schwartz's on Saint-Laurent Blvd - no brainer, but sit at the bar for a better experience

Nice list. All Montreal staples.
I'll just add La Paryse (on Ontario just west of St. Denis). Best burgers in town. They make a pretty good milkshake too.
L'Express (on St. Laurent) is another good one if you're looking for bistro style food. It's a bit more expensive though, by Montreal standards at least. About in the same range as Au Pied de Cochon.
For pubs if you're into microbrew check out Dieu du Ciel (on Laurier). Amazing beers that they brew themselves on the premises. Some other good ones are Vices & Versa (Quebec micro brews), St. Bock (Quebec micro brews), Ste. Elisabeth (amazing patio, $4 pints on Fridays until 20:00), Cheval Blanc or Billy Kun (both famous pubs on the Plateau).
