Obviously they meant in the playoffs.

I'm positive. How could you be so sure?
Because there is no way that "after Edmonton's first 10 games this year, a very hard start by any measure, that they will find themselves in a playoff spot, they very well could be looking way up the standings again with dismay. With the structure of this team, I don't see them making it to the post season again this year - especially if they have a bad start.
That's one hell of a first 10 - when the Blackhawks are one of the easiest wins, it's going to be tough - let's wait and see.

Bouchard was ok, but I don't think he's NHL ready and if they try to force it, they'll ruin him. I would expect that he returns to junior
Poolparty after all of the OH MY GERD HE'S ARRIVED talk in the preseason he went back to that guy who looked completely lost and confused and behind the play.
Yamamoto looked pretty underwhelming as well.
They (Being the idiots up north) frantically, desparately and hornially needed everything to break right off of the start. Instead they have a 10 game ball smasher schedule and Chia is also wondering what its like to sell term life insurance for a living.

I can’t wait for the end of November when the oiler jerseys start getting tossed, McDavid has that look of despair on his face that he’s stuck with that joke of a franchise for 8 years, and the “Lose for Hughes” headlines start to show up in Oilers forums. Lol.
