Its sad that next week is the end, its such a quality show and when you look at cast interactions they really enjoy working together, and we got a reflection of that in the talk between Mack and Daisy (Quake)

Loved the final episode and it was a great way to end the series.

Spoiler!

Good bye Shield, I know I'm watching through it again and just started on season three, but I'll miss new episodes and seasons and stories.

Always liked your write ups Captain, thanks!. Definitely going to miss having new twists and turns as well, looking back I really enjoyed this show.

Where are you watching old seasons? Might have to go for a trip down memory lane.

Its on Crave and Disney +. You can also get Agent Carter on Disney+ a series that ended too soon.

Season 1 did start slow but when they introduced Hydra and John Garrett the show just became amazing and hit a high standard for 7 years. Clark Gregg is a god damn treasure and seeing that they left an opening for Coulson to return to the Marvel universe is amazing.

Its hard to believe that Chloe started on this show at the age of 20 and just improved leaps and bounds.

I'm hoping another show comes along that catches my fancy like this one did. I do like doing these kind of reviews and writeups.

I'm surprised but happy they didn't address "The Snap" on the show (I'm assuming the entirety of the show precedes Thanos by at least a year).

Just a real charming run, and in typical Marvel fashion they nailed the landing. I was a bit misty eyed. Sad to see it go, but happy I got to enjoy the ride.

Maybe when the Snap happened in one timeline, they were in another...

Great episode and this show and it's incredible writing staff will be missed.

I wonder if Mac, and his new role in SHIELD, will appear in a future MCU movie...

I think that's how Whedon explained it.

Still the best punch in the face entrance in the series

I've been watching through again and just hit the end of season 4. As much as I liked

Season 1 - The re-emergence of Hydra, John Garrett, the betrayal of Grant War
Season 2 - The inhuman war, Skye becoming an inhuman and finding her mother
Season 3 - Hive, the height of Grant Ward's evil

Season 4 was probably the outright best season in the series. Maybe its because Mallory Jensen was so incredibly good as Aida. Or the frame work with Fitz being a really bad guy, the Ghost Rider story line. It was one of the best series seasons that I've ever watched. Aida was at times evil yet really sympathetic, she wasn't as much pure evil, as pure vindictive and given emotions that she wasn't ready for. Her death was incredibly haunting as she stared with regret at Fitz who she loved and had her heart broken.

Yeah I've been rewatching as well, and just got to season 4 where they're entering the framework. I remember loving season 4. On the flip side, I recall season 5 being a real let down... But we'll see this go around

I loved the first couple of episodes of season 5, just because of Mac's reaction to every thing

Just started Season 7 of my last walk through. This show was just so quality in the end, but now that I've been spoiled when you see certain events happening you get a real cool understanding of what was going on.

I think after I'm done, I'm going to do one final write up to put this show away, I really want to rank the villains, because all of them were simply amazing.

Finished my final watch through of Shield from the start to the end.

When you go back and watch it, its actually kind of amazing how the last 3 seasons all link together especially with the time travel.

Chloe Bennett started off as the weakest actor of the bunch, but by the end she was exceptionally strong.

Some of the fight sequences, especially the one camera one run fights were amazing to watch.

If there was a weakness in the last three years, it was with the villains, the last three. Talbot, Izel and Sarge, Nathanial Malick and the Chronicoms. were decent villians but really paled in comparison to Ward/Garrett. Hive and especially Aida who will go down as one of my favorite television villains of all time. But the writing and acting and heroic characters were so strong in the last three seasons.

I like the fact that Coulson went from being the center point and main hero in Shield to him being fairly background in the last couple of years as well.

Now onto a rewatch of the tragically cancelled Agent Carter.

Almost finished the first season, it makes me really hopeful for what the Disney Plus content can be.

The way the show layered itself below the stories of Ironman 2, Dark World, Winter Solider. But didn't interfere with them was just great world building.

I had completely forgotten about Sith / Lorilie, that was a fun tie-in. Letting you know it's very much the same world, but the world has depth as soon as you step away from the main team of heros.
