Each to their own, but I can only imagine the clientele. Old lonely men and young adults too busy giggling and staring to eat.
Surprisingly no and no. Not the one near me anyways.

Middle aged blue collar types. Always contractor vans and ridiculously tricked out trucks were always parked out front.

Twin Peaks opened a couple of units here in Wichita. It was my wife who actually suggested we try the place. I had only been to Hooter's one time, but the difference here is the food. Twin Peaks has excellent food.

The "uniforms" are somewhat more revealing though. It's a bit embarassing if you aren't single and in your 20's or a dirty old man.

I never actually ate at a Hooters before. I have a lot of females in my circle and am rarely ever just hanging around with dudes when going out for meals. It just never seemed tactful to suggest it. Someone told me their hamburgers were actually really good though.

I did have a girlfriend before though that like going to strippers. She said she liked the outfits... yeah right.

I was a semi-regular at the Hooters in Bogota because it was the only place that I could watch North American sports, and their wings were better than at the other place in Bogota that served wings. Surprisingly, their waitresses were some of the most conservatively dressed in the country.

My point is that there are non-waitress-related reasons to go to Hooters, but none of them really apply to Canadian or U.S. locations. I'm shocked that these locations have lasted as long as they have.

I took my son to Hooters once because kids eat free. The waitresses all had nice tits, but without exception, every single one of them needed braces. Food was terrible as well.

When you and this Shark Club Waitress found yourself in or around a school, was she wearing a hat?

I will second the food being terrible and the girls being ugly at Hooters, but that might have been because it was in Edmonton.

Lol, was that the only reason you took him there? Was it?

I will always remember the last time I went to a Hooters.

It was the day after the Flames lost in Game 7, myself and my hungover compatriots went to the Hooters on Macloed Trail and the entire 2004 Calgary Flames team came in absolutely hammered.

Lombardi went into the washroom with one of the waitresses and came out wearing her Hooters uniform and Iggy signed my buddy's jersey all while Oliwa was throwing toilet paper across the restaurant.

We even split some very poor Hooters champagne with them. What a couple of hours that was.

FED UP? So are we.

A feminist approach to eating out that seeks to highlight prominent issues regarding sex, gender, and race in the service industry. We aim to provide a comprehensive and accessible database of restaurant, cafe, and eatery reviews based off of a thorough checklist that anyone can bring along on an outing if they wish. Scores and ratings are directly drawn from the evaluations of anyone that chooses to fill out a checklist and submit it.

High-end and high-profile restaurants that monopolize the industry often escape accountability in terms of sexism and other forms of discrimination within their workplace, marketing, and service. We hope to shed light on this disappointing trend by encouraging you to assess the places you choose to eat with a more critical eye.

This database will doubtlessly aid you in choosing where to take your business.
