Suits are shorting the crap out of the market, short term they win every single time. Now (or in a few days, hard to say) may be a good time to load up on your high conviction stocks, or do nothing. Don't panic and sell.

I'm pretty close to capitulating, but glad to hear you're still in it. Maybe I'll hold out for a little longer.

Profit is bad. It sets expectations.

At least that’s what I gleaned from that one episode of Silicon Valley.

My plan is to hold ADN until the end of the tax year, then make a decision.

I have no idea if it's a bad plan or a good plan. But it's a plan.

Re: PLTR

With an $18 share price it’s showing a $35B market cap; that’s the same market cap as giants like Suncor and Nutrien (after Agrium & PotashCorp merged). Now I know they’re different industries so not comparables, I just listed those two as an idea of companies of that magnitude.

Has PLTR done anything to be valued at that level?

I got caught up and caught the falling knife.
Halted today. News release saying they have a referral with a major canadian airline for thier covid test. Possible exit point selling on news? Or you believe it is the start of an upswing. Hopefully.

Interesting. Would be nice to see any sort of green with this one it’s been bad for a long time with steady decline.

Just read a bit into it it’s almost certainly Air Canada as the partnership. Any news is good news excited to see the open tomorrow!

If this thing goes up substantially I bet it'll crater quickly too as people (myself included) look to exit en masse.

I think I'll put a limit sell order in for tomorrow and, if it goes, roll that money into ATE which I prefer for the long game.

My Notes:

Market making me uneasy, over the past month I have sold most stocks in my TFSA and moved into high dividend funds. Will wait for things to settle before moving back into stocks.

Taking a absolute beating on SCR...in too deep right now to bail, I am forced to play the long game on that one but it's sitting in my LRSP.

I still believe in reopen stocks like AC and NCLH and have been increasing my positions there.

I got in on the Ascend Wellness (AAWH.U) IPO but instead of selling for a quick profit plan to hold it, a lot of excitement around this one and I want to see what it can do.

Have a couple smaller cap plays I am hoping can still pop with AMY and WATR...those are my gambles.

Still think weed can do OK so am holding HMUS.U and just bought some TLRY

I am currently 50% cash/funds and 50% stock

My stock account has taken a pretty big haircut (16.7%), though YoY I'm still up massively. Though, my saving total (cash, crypto, and stocks combined) is still on the way up in a big way. Since the market has turned red, without just doing a quick analysis I am probably up about 10% altogether.

Currently, the way that I see it, is the gamblers that have helped drive up insane valuations on stocks have moved from Stocks to Crypto. So my opinions on some positions have not changed.

ADN: I like this company, they have some very interesting technology, and could stand to dominate the hydrogen market in 5-10 years. My current wonder is, where does the stock go short term and will the warrants expire before the stock sees gains again. Also, when do the hedge funds and ETFs invest.

I really view ADN, as I did ETHC.TO over the last few years, while I was hoping hype/meme's would make me a quick buck. I was still happy with sitting on this one for a while.

I plan to average down the average cost of my position in warrants over the next 6-9 months. The two things that are I'm trying to figure out are the question I mentioned above (warrants timeline vs timeline) and how much I should invest. I am thinking of putting in another 50-100% of my book value.

SCR/GME, I never got in, these are crap stocks in my opinion. I have nothing good to say about them. I haven't done DD on CBDT, missed the up, and was already investing in DRDR.TO, which I've taken a haircut on as well. Though DRDR.TO, I'm more interested in the tech play.

Though, I consider DRDR.TO a mistake, the gains are not worth sitting down 50%, I think it'll go back up but I just want my money back lol.

On a positive note, I may get some more cash out of ETHC.TO soon it's approaching my next sell X if it reaches Y target.

Whenever the market goes down = an opportunity to buy

If you are a long term investor, what difference does it make if the market goes down 5% or 10% this year? Continue to collect those dividends and wait for the eventual market rebound.

Looking prescient today. Weird things happening in the spec and crypto space in particular.
