I've never watched that show, and I assume his character isn't supposed to be like Trump, but the clip captures the compelling power of an imaginary past when everything was better. Trump would just deliver a similar message in more of a WWE format rather than a college lecture format.

The States wasn’t the greatest country in the world when that show aired and it’s declined by a lot since then. I don’t think it makes the top 20 now.

Reading the thread this is a low level judge’s ruling, not the Supreme Court. Whether it is a good judgement or not it is likely to be appealed.

Planning to watch the Fetterman-Oz debate when I get a chance for myself, but just read an article from Politico saying that Fetterman had a very poor showing due to his recent stroke and challenges he still has as a result. Not great news for Democrats as many felt he shouldn't do the debate because of this and polls now showing a narrowing from before with it being essentially a coin toss.

I saw a couple clips and it was difficult to watch. I can't imagine how his supporters could ever defend the performance or how his opponents could possibly criticize him for trying his best.
