It definitely was not some rogue local bureaucracy as he's suggesting, though the actual point he's trying to make is that the raid will energize Trumpers. Which... yeah, sure, but that's not worth caring about if they're legitimately investigating a crime.

Agreed. Yang's "centrist 3rd party" is also objectively stupid. If you line up the country on ideology 0-10, you might get the republicans at 2 and dems at 5 if you work super hard to find space in between. We don't need 3.5 with new branding. But all people like Yang know how to do is pointless #### presented as important.

Ex-president is the best gig in the world. You get to live like a fat little king with all your needs looked after. And if you crave a bit of attention, there are tons of organizations and world governments who'd pay your exorbitant speaking fee if you want.
Apparently, Trump as president increased the penalty for possessing top secret documents from one to five years to get back at Hillary Clinton. Bad move, Don.

Donald Trump (or at least his lawyer) is in possession of a signed warrant which must, by law, spell out the following:
1) What crime, specifically, is being investigated.
2) What evidence, specifically, the FBI expected to find in his house.
3) Why the FBI expected to find this evidence in his house.
4) Why a search and seizure was necessary, ie: what reasons the FBI felt the evidence might be destroyed, removed, distributed, etc. necessitating the immediate removal of said evidence.
It would also indicate which federal judge was convinced by the FBI to sign said warrant.
Trump is well within his rights to release this document to the public at anytime. It would really be improper for either the DOJ or the FBI to release information or comment on this investigation. It rarely happens in criminal cases: the prosecution and the police don’t comment, information about the case almost always comes from the defense.
