Arnold. Andersson was just drafted and hasn't shown anything as far as growth or proving his potential. I hate the flavor of the month guys, especially those just dropped in the system. Much prefer guys that have proven they were worthy of their draft status or showed improvement/growth from that established baseline.

Culkin again for me. I don't mind continuing to vote for him.

That's not why people are voting for Andersson, give people some credit.

What is the potential of each player, realistically?

Arnold? 3rd/4th line center.

Andersson? Top 4 Dman and PP QB.

That's why people are voting for him. It has nothing to do with him being a 'flavor of the month'.

Still only a rumor he is returning to Germany. Until confirmation it would be premature to remove his name from the listing.

Voted for Culkin again. He's showing great progress at a tough position. I like Arnold and Andersson as well as Morrison. Morrison looked good at the end of the season but that's far too short to get a good read on him. On my list of the players left my next pick would be Smith followed by Kulak.

Voted Morrison. Can't go wrong with Arnold, Andersson, Agostino, or Culkin though.

Personally how I evaluate prospects is their upside + llikelihood of reaching that upside.

So it would go something like:

50 pts - 1st line forward / #1 D / #1 goalie
40 pts - 2nd line / #2-3 D
30 pts - 3rd line / #3-4 D
20 pts - 4th line / bottom pairing D
10 pts - AHLer

And then add that to their chance of reaching upside (÷2). Prospects like Poirier, Bennett would be at the top by default and prospects like Kylington (project with great upside) would end up similarly to Arnold (excellent shot at NHL but as 4th liner).

I've been voting Morrison because I feel like he will replace Wideman by the start of the 2016-17 season. Long term he would be middle pairing with Hickey. IIRC both have bullet shots, so both our PP defence units would be deadly.

Voted Andersson. Last easy pick for me. No idea who I'll pick next. It was going to be McDonald but he won last round.

rafikov, glad it's taken till round 13 but this was the first vote that gave me pause.
damn it feels good to be a gangster.
rafikov I think may surprise some people around here, top flight d-man for team Russia.
we could do much worse, but it looks like it's not even a guarantee he goes in the top 20.
good problems, first world problems.

Locked in with the big man Kanzig until the rest of you come to your senses and he is selected. Which could be many rounds from now.

Seriously, I think he will pleasantly surprise a lot of folks in about two years.

Culkin, I have a slightly irrational belief that one of kulak or culkin will be a top 4 guy in the NHL.

e: I like to think of it as a highlander-esque scenario where one must destroy the other in order to succeed.

Looks close to the same as last year. Maybe down 10%.
Any dip would be simply the psychology of winning. When you are a playoff team, winning is what matters most. When you suck, prospects and picks matter most.
