If you are not watching Winning Time about the Lakers, you definitely need to. John C Reilly plays Dr Gerry Bus and absolutely crushes the role. It definitely has it's sports angle to it although its funny, easy to watch and enjoyable. Adam Mckay is behind this show.

If the show is representative of Uber, I can totally see why Nenshi had such a low opinion of Kalanick. Also had no idea Garrett Camp was from Calgary connection… or that he was existed.
Anyone else watch My Brilliant Friend? It’s an Italian drama about two friends that started with them growing up in Naples during the 50s, and in the latest season they both have families and struggle to keep their friendship alive. It has a soap opera feel at times but in a good way.
More so than other actors, I find that Colin Firth without a British accent seems less genuine. I'm sure he does a fine job, and it looks like a good show...it's just weird.
Man ... The Wire loves to build you up and then rip your heart out. What a show this is. Just finished the 4th season on the weekend, and am a couple episodes into season 5. Season 5 seems a bit hit/miss right now, but still enjoying it as I'm vested in the characters.

Season 4 was heartbreaking. They did an amazing job building up the kids as characters only to rip your heart out.
Season 5 was the weakest of the series. It had its moments but the overarching serial killer storyline was pretty dumb.
Well, I binged out the rest of season 5 and agree it was the weakest of the series. Which is too bad, considering it was the last. I'd rank them from best to worst like this; 4, 3, 1, 2, 5.

Definitely agree with this ranking, although I personally still loved season 2 there's no question that it was definitely weaker than 1, 3 and 4.
Started and finished the 3 episodes of Tokyo Vice.
I think I found my new favorite show. Love Ken Watanbe. I also am completely fascinated with the Yakuza. Always have been. This show is right up your alley if you like that sorta thing too.
Directed by Michael Mann, and based on a real life memoir.
