One of my favorite things the Eagles do is constantly building both the OL and DL thru the draft

No kidding. Carr was fairly durable as a Raider but two seasons as a Saint and he's damaged goods. Not sure why they just don't strip things down and start over as their timing should fit in to whenever Manning decides to declare for the draft.

With the Browns reportedly leaning towards taking Travis Hunter at 2, there seems to be a good chance that Shedeur falls to the Saints at 9.
As well with two picks in round 2 and two picks in round 3, paired with Rooney's willingness to move up, I could also see the Saints making a play for Dart in the latter half of Round 1.

The Saints actually do the same thing, they've invested heavily in both lines with 1st & 2nd round picks the past several years. Their problem is they've missed on almost all of them.
With as many roster holes as they have, I'd be going BPA at #9, they should be getting a solid player regardless at that spot. It's the highest they've drafted since 2008, don't blow it by reaching for a QB, especially in a weak draft year for them.
Outside of Ward - who will be long gone by #9 - I don't see a QB in this draft that will be head & shoulders better than Rattler in 2025; not with a year under his belt. IMO give him the keys to the team this year. He'll either flourish, or get them in a solid draft position to pick an elite QB in 2026 or 27 (waiting on you, Arch. Come home).

I would agree that going forward with Rattler is likely what they do, but i think Dart and Sanders are head and shoulder above Rattler, and that's not endorsement of them. Rattler makes Levis look good

The Jets made Rodgers fly out on his own dime, he made this seem like a big deal, to havea 5 minute meeting to tell him to eff off.
Becoming a big Aaron Glenn fan.

Eh maybe, I'm not sold on Dart. And I don't really want the attention circus that will be Shadeur/Deion combo, I'd rather they just go BPA as there's holes everywhere, and do QB in 2026 or '27.
I'm not saying Rattler is it...he probably isn't. But he flashed enough potential that I at least want to see him out there with a starting roster. Saints were literally down to 2 starters on offence (both on the OL) when Rattler took over. It was a mess.

Whomever needs a QB in 2028 because they'll be drafting in the top 10 as long as Sanders is their starter.

Who knows. Could be the Giants, Saints, or even Steelers. This draft is all over the place because there's a lack of elite talent. Jeanty will also be an interesting one to watch as he's a rare talent but being a RB some teams will pass on him despite him easily being BPA.

From what I'm hearing, I'd be surprised if it's Saints. New HC Kellen Moore sounds like he's bringing that "build from the lines out" mentality from Philly, and unless someone like Jeanty falls to them at #9, I could see it being an OL/DL. They may even trade down if their guy isn't there; something the Saints never do.
I want no part of Sanders, he's not good enough for the attention side show him & his dad will bring.

With Ramczyk retiring officially, probably would be the right move. Get a decent line in place then get your QB next draft.
There's a reason Philly is at worst the second most successful franchise in the past 8 seasons. They prioritize being strong on both sides of the line and build around that.
Seems to be a good strategy...unless you're the Cleveland Browns.

Yep, agreed. The sad thing is, Saints have already had that vision as well: since 2018, they've used a 1st round pick on OL or DL every year save for 2019 (when they used a 2nd round pick on one). The problem is, they were mostly all busts or mid players.
It's a big reason why they're in the situation they're in (losing an HoF QB and coach does that too of course).
