Default what are your bad habits playoff superstitions

So what are they. The playoffs have started and we're all looking forward to a long playoff run.

so what do you do to urge the Flames on to victory.

This is the first time working from home, so I'm thinking the monster playoff beard of Zeus, I stopped shaving on Sunday. I'm going for the full neck beard

Do you suddenly stop going to the gym after work? I mean its the playoffs baby

That long banned snack cupboard that you last stocked during the last playoff suddenly filled with all those things that will kill you dead?

C'mon spill?

Oh and I'm looking forward to the upping the game of the Weather woman.

Here's hoping pylon ressurrects his Korean BBQ superstition from 2015, where he'd destroy his colon with the spiciest, fieriest menu choices imaginable because dammit, it was working.

We have traditionally built a shrine of Flames memorabilia around the TV with friends, and we move the shrine to another location when the Flames lose a game.

I drink beer.

I have a 15 pack case of Budweiser specially marked all red with the Flames logo. After each win I'll enjoy a can. Wait, it requires 16 wins to get the cup you say? Well, I have a plan for that. Red wine for win #16!

What if the Flames get eliminated? I'll drink ALL the remaining beer... and probably call in sick the next day if it is somehow an early elimination.

I'm going to wash my Cat before every game, because I can't think of anything more masochistic than giving a cat a bath

Red wine. Not so much a superstition, but I definitely feel like I need it when watching these games! I have a bottle of Malbec ready to roll tonight!

I just move seats / positions regularly if the Flames are playing poorly.

When I find a spot that coincides with a goal - I don’t move for the rest of the game.

(Unless, of course, they start losing again)

I bought a bottle of that Flames wine a couple years ago on sale. It's obviously nothing fancy, but I've refused to drink it until something good happens. I'm not really sure what qualifies for this potentially mediocre mostly merlot. Any ideas? Start of the final round? Only after they win a cup? I missed the boat when they fired GG?

Oh hey! It's up to $22.99 now! I think I paid $12, so it is now a slightly better bottle of wine.

I just don't watch - I can't take the pressure. I just read about the games after they happen. I know, I know - but I'm taking one for the team

I definitely increase my booze consumption during the playoffs as it calms the nerves. I could see tonight being an evening when I have more than a few too many but taking the day off work tomorrow will help if I need to sleep it off.

I also watch a lot of games at home alone during the season but I need to be with other Flames fans for playoff games.

I wore my jersey to work in Edmonton today. If they don't win. I won't do it again.

I have a red Flames hoodie that seems like bad luck, so I try to avoid wearing it on game days.

I have a black and white one, that has been good in the past, so I'll be sporting that one on Saturday.

I also have a pair of white Flames socks with Red, and Black that have been good in the past, but the more colorful red and yellow ones not so much.

I got a new Flames hat for my Birthday, so if the Flames are up 3-1 or 3-0 I'll try it out on that day. If they end up down 0-3, maybe I'd throw the Hail Mary on that too.

I couldn't find my retro red shirt with the White C on it this morning to wear under my jersey so I'm a bit concerned with that.

I do believe that if I don't wear the right combination of Flames attire, they won't win. I also believe that if they are playing the the dookie in my arse...I need to turn off the TV, hide my phone and leave the house for like an hour...and they'll find a way to play better and get in the game.

Mine are all jersey related. I'll wear the same one until they lose, then switch to a different one.

In the 2004 playoff run, I wore my Flames jersey for every game. On the last game in TB, my son borrowed my jersey without my knowledge (my wife gave it to him), on game day, so I was without my jersey for the last game - I maintain that is why they lost.

I have absolutely no routine or superstitions, I just watch and enjoy the games.

Watching the game on TV with the volume on level 10. It worked in '04, hoping it still has the magical powers
