Bring it on! Flames should win in no more than 5 but I have memories of the 90s so won’t be counting any chickens.
Also nice to see the games in the same time zone with minimal travel. Interesting all the West matchups minimise travel almost like it was intentional.

Honestly, I dont like Colorados D corps that much. There's just not enough on their back end to stop Peter's from safely and calmly rolling 4 lines over them. It's a series where I dont think the Flames need to shorten their bench.

This is the series I was hoping for, as it should be a track meet - Both teams are top 10 in scoring and shots for. The difference is that the Flames do a better job suppressing shots against, which helps contribute to a better GA/G.
Basically, lots of top end offensive talent, with Flames depth giving them the edge.
As with every series they'll play, though, the Flames can't be seen as an overwhelming favorite, as you just never know if their goaltending will hold up.

Are there any good scouting reports out there on the Avalanche? I'd like to read up on their players and their season before the series starts.
