I don’t know why people are so mad. That was an obvious goal and an easy call.
I get they’ve made some bad calls in the past but it makes no sense to get mad when they get it right.

Nothing was clear as day. The leaf falling into Rask was.
They scored a second one though so it doesn't matter.

I’m with him. The behind the goal replay showed there was barely anything to make a material difference.
Anyway, both teams aren’t playing particularly well. If Boston played the grind game they’d win. This isn’t their game.

They have been calling that goal off all season long...that is why people have issues with it. Even Ron and Don think its no goal
Gaudreau gets robbed of 100 points when MAF initiates contact and dives but that is allowed

With all the inconsistency this year how can you honestly say that was the right call? Sure it was a goal based on the fact that the puck went into the net but whether or not it was goalie interfence is basically a coin flip.

Rask play seems very simple to me - the opposing player initiated contact 100% on his own volition, hitting the goalie in the mask with his stick and/or glove - the puck is in the net less than 2 seconds later. Textbook interference.
So much focus on whether goalies are impeded from 'pushing back'. What about being impeded from seeing what the hell is going on?
