Norman's are awesome guitars - they are one of a few made in La Patrie, Quebec, which seems to be a Canadian mecca for high-quality, low-price guitars (Seagull, Simon and Patrick are others made there).

Check out this guitar.
I have never played an Art & Lutherie guitar, but their webpage says they are related to Seagull/Simon&Patrick, which I've already praised. Sounds like it has a pickup as well, which is great if you want to plug in.
