Pellitier-Zary-Coronato
Valimaki-Poirier
Wolf

I still think popsil will be a solid addition.

Some of the players could pad out the middle part of the Flames roster (F middle six, second D pairing types).
Higher ceilings would be nice, or course. One or two could exceed expectations.

Based on what we have seen in the AHL, I would see the tiers as such:
Elite NHLer: None
Impact NHLer: Pelletier, Wolf
NHLer: Duehr, Mackey, Valimaki, Zary
Tweener: Ruzicka, Phillips, Pospisil

I think you can add Gawdin to the list as a tweener and Solovyov on D as well.

I'd swap Deuhr with Ruzicka.
Deuhr has straight line speed and can play a good grinding game, but it takes a ton of luck to carve out a career like Hathaway's when you have such a limited skill set.
Ruzicka probably becomes a full-time NHLer. He'll get enough chances with his size and skill to make it over the tweener hump. The only thing holding him back is drive.

It's nice to see Zary doing well now that he's warmed up from injury.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read he's playing mostly 3rd line minutes?
Either way, after a slow start shaking off the rust, 4g 4a is encouraging. He's my favourite prospect and can't wait to see him on the big club one day.

Stockton recalled G Daniil Chechelev, as per ECHL Transactions page.
Meaning one of Wolf or Werner is to be elevated to the NHL Taxi squad.

Heat, minus Werner, Valimaki and Pettersen for Covid and Wolf lose 4-0 to San Jose
Shortridge was in net and Chechelev was the backup

Solovyov seems to be upping his offensive game lately-picked up an assist today.

From the box score it looks like both coaches got thrown out? Anyone know what happened?

The Heat center depth was a huge strength; Gawdin, Froese, Ruzicka and Zary.
Missing two on the Flames taxi squad might catch up to them. Hard to tell just listening, but I believe Philp was playing center last night.
Wolf gets his first regulation loss of this season.
Heat play Tucson again tonight. Wonder if Chechelev will get the start

Unacceptable Wolf...I'm very disappointed.
Trending towards bust territory.
