50/50 hits 1.01 million in Sedins final home game
Some lucky guy or gal just took home $500K tax free. Incredible.

I know the people that won this. Group of 3 that split it for 160k each... Super lucky!

The jackpot was seeded with money from previously unclaimed jackpots and started at $400,000. Even with that, it means that every single person in attendance bought an average of more than $40 worth of tickets.

The Warriors seeded a pool during the season with 25K and that rose to 60K, and the prize wasn't claimed. Our first playoff game was seeded with the unclaimed 60K pool, and went to 160K. The winner still hasn't claimed the 80K jackpot.
I thought it was funny that we bought 100K worth of tickets, which would have been massive as our previous record was about 40K in an unseeded draw. I also think we need SLGA to investigate. Haha.
It's amazing how popular these have gotten. I remember when they were little more than beer money payouts.

I thought the Canuck's had it set up so you could by 50/50 tickets even if you watched the game at home?
