77 at Gleneagles last week. I've been shooting much more consistently in the upper 70s the last 18 months. I can attribute this to my new grips (more relaxed) and a more upright putting stance, I think.

I have played this bad boy. You will want to have explosive distance off of the tee, and shots around the green in the scoring zone require touch and feel.

All kidding aside, this course is alright. A couple of the holes on the front nine just feel like the same holes, just going up and then back. The signature three holes 11-12-13 are a challenge. I golfed there last year (and posted here about the experience, but if my comments today differ from my prior comments, go with the prior comments), and recall getting a deal off of the regular green fees. I thought it delivered solid value.

Played it last year and enjoyed it... their 3 signature holes called "Mooty's Rut" I think are pretty fun for sure!

I was in their men’s league last year. (and again this year). Great course and once it has grown in it will be a challenge.

The next 18 are supposed to be open this coming July/August. We saw all the greens were completed last year and we really want sneak on and play them.

The league will be incredible once the other side opens, as they will rotate between 4 9holes.

I am teeing it up there(serenity) on Sunday morning. Should’ve a good time as I have not even thought about swinging a club since last August.

I spoke with the head greenskeeper (Serenity) today and apparently the greens are in terrific condition. Have fun if you're heading out there.

Second consecutive 77 at Gleneagles this morning - third in a row dating back to Banff Springs in the fall.

Course is in very nice shape.

Golfed my first rd this year out at River Spirit and left my wedge on Spirit 2. Didn’t even finau she finish 3 and went back to get and it was gone. Asked the two groups behind me and nothing. Course was in decent shape, some rough spots but it’s early.

Hate when that happens.

I used my bright orange and yellow rangefinder to get a distance into the green from the middle of the fairway on Spirit 3, then put it down to take the shot. For whatever reason, I forgot to grab it.

When I went to use it on the 4th tee box (which is a par 3), I realized it wasn't there. I hit first and then took the cart back to the 3rd hole.

Of course, there was a group that looked like they would've preferred to be wearing wifebeaters on the course and they hadn't seen it. Had no idea what I was talking about. There was less than 5 minutes between me using it and realizing it was gone, and those losers snatched it up.

Super frustrating, the first group was two older couples and the group behind them were 4 guys in their older 30's and forties. I suppose someone form Milburn hole 2 could have grabbed it. Hopefully someone turns it.
