For once.. FOR ONCE... i hope they don't show too much of the movie in the subsequent trailers, and leave it for the main movie. I think this movie has enough clout and hype that it will sell itself.
it would be amazing to see the reveal of Venom in theatres, then know what he looks like going in... That being said, only if he looks awesome, and not like the stinking pile of garbage from Spiderman 3
The general issue is trailers that leave it for the main movie attract attitudes like the ones above. Bit of a double edged sword.

If Spiderman 3 did anything exceptionally well it was to keep expectations of Venom stunningly low.

Not a movie, but a "series" based on a movie for YouTube Red (not to be confused with that different Tube with Red in its title -- that would be a very different type of series and would give new meaning to "wax on, wax off")...
It seems more like a Funny or Die parody video than an actual trailer for a real series.

ok wait, I thought that Johnny and Daniel had kind of reached a peace at the end of the first movie. I mean he gave Daniel the trophy instead of hitting him over the head with it.
You would also think that Johnny wouldn't have anything to do with the whole Cobra Kai philosophy after his coach instructed him to basically injure his opponent, oh yeah and yelled "Mercy is for the weak" while he beat down his student.
Who knows, maybe they form a crime fighting duo.

That looks laughably bad.

^Hmmm. The first one was a complete mess due to trying to be both a Fantastic Beasts film and a Grindelwald mystery film and it looks like this one is making the same mistake. Also, Johnny Depp was completely miscast in his one minute in the first one so I'm not really looking forward to seeing him with more screen time.
The best parts will probably be the pandering to HP fans. Law as Dumbledore should be excellent and it will be nice to learn some history of Hogwarts.

I'm a big fan of Bo Burnham, and having a daughter in 9th grade now, this trailer really hits home. Not sure how it will be rated, but would love to see it as a family movie.
