Darren McCarty was also on recently. His interview was great, plenty of awesome stories. Didn't mention much about his time in Calgary obviously, other than going in and out of rehab before rejoining Detroit's organization for another run (and eventual cup).

I missed this earlier but great interview from Theo. What I love about Spittin Chiclets is the lack of pretension and the way they are able to get guys to relax and talk candidly.

Great stuff about the punch up in Piestany, and Theo's response when asked about Gary Roberts' fitness regimen in the 80s was pretty funny.

Who are spittin chiclets? Is it random fans or hockey guys? I thought it was Biz Nasty and Ryan Whitney but I listened to an episode and it didnt sound like them.

It is Biznasty and Whitney, but there's 2 others, RA or Rear Admiral and Mike Grinell who is the producer.

Half the time in interviews when he makes that yawning sound, I'm pretty sure he's smokin a dart. He pretty much lights his next one with his last one.

I wish they would video tape the episodes. Those guys are pretty funny but strictly listening wasn't as enjoyable. I think I may be in the minority though for people who prefer video podcast.

It might have to do with the first episode I ever listened to, but it was the Lucic one and off the bat it got into derogatory talk of women and such bro attitudes i couldn't get through ten minutes of it. It disgusted me.

I think disgusted is strong, but
They are #######s who talk and act like #######s.
I got friends like that. Who are also funny. In very tiny doses.
There are outstanding hockey podcasts out there.
This could be one. It's not.

Meh I like it. It reminds me of the meatheads I played hockey with. I don't think that kind of attitude is awesome or anything but I do like to laugh at it
