They haven't officially confirmed that he's in the film, but if he's in town and hanging around on the set, I'd say that answers the question. I'm guessing his character has a relatively small role in the movie and perhaps they're going for the surprise appearance/cameo thing where Murray's name isn't listed in the official credits.

Bill Murray defiantly may or may not have been in town and absolutely did or didn’t ensure that 2 masseuses were hired by the studio for 2 days to possibly give or not give massages to crew members as he may or may not have seen fit. And he definitely did or did not have a bagpipe player with him and certainly did not serenade the cast and crew during a meal brake
