In a situation like this, Lucic only stands to lose.

Either he gets injured or sued by the opposing party.

That guy's pretty lucky. Lucic would have messed him up pretty badly if they actually fought.

If a guy punched Lucic and he swung back why would he get sued?

hard to understand what was going on. Why Lucic didnt just get out of there as quickly as he could is beyond me, absolutely nothing to gain from his side

Wow, those guys are pretty stupid to be going after Lucic. He'd literally kill them if anything actually happened.

Did you hear his slurring? A sober Lucic would have got out of there quickly. That wasn't a sober Lucic.

They know he has money, not saying they would win a lawsuit but they would definitely try.

Also, I know there are certainly examples of poor policing by Canadian law enforcement (like the Toronto shooting), but I always laugh at how cool and collected Canadian police typically sound in these youtube videos, compared to a lot of the American ones where the cops, more often than not are shouting and acting aggressive and end up escalating incidents.

These cops are just all "Ok, cool down man, yeah yeah, alright, everyone good here, just cool down".

Americans cops would have been throwing people to the ground and shouting out military style commands at everyone.

A good fighter on skates is a beast in street shoes.

That dude shoulda went home and cried alligator tears of joy that he still has the same face he went out with earlier that evening. Unless of course he's some kind of MMA fighter.

Alcohol does change everything though.

Must be annoying to go out and have half-wit ******bags try to pick fight with you to look cool. That guy should consider himself lucky he didn't get his face rearranged by Lucic.

A Cool Story Bro, but I was just in Miami hanging out with an ex-NFL pro bowl defensive tackle. The guy is huge, menacing looking, but honestly the nicest and kindest guy I have ever met.

We went out to a nightclub in Miami and were minding our own business, it came to closing time, and we were leaving. Before we left he said to me, "Watch someone pick a fight as I leave, someone does it every time"

Sure enough, a guy my size a good 4 inches shorter and 100 pounds lighter elbows him hard as we leave. Football player turns around and says "Naw man you didn't do that". Guys says "Ya, F^&k you I did it! F%^k you and your ugly girl"

The football player just had enough, grabs buddy by the neck one hand, raises him, and slams him Undertaker style over the bar.

It was the most amazing thing I ever saw. I was proud for him standing up, cause it apparently happens a lot. He can't go to these places without the night ruined by one of these d***h bags.

I can't say it was the same in this case, but given what I have seen, and this being Vancouver, I'll believe Lucic was the victim here 10 out of 10 times.

Someone quoted Rome that they shouldn't be there in the first place, but these guys just want to relax and have a life sometimes.
