Didn't come out for the third. Last shift was final minutes of the second.

From a morale standpoint, for both the team and the fans, this may have been the most important win of the season so far.

Crawl back into your cave for one night you Bennett hater. He looked better than Ferland has looked on his best game and 'know what? He actually has the top end skill to last up there

Why is Tkachuk so awesome? Because he just is. Nice to see the Flames bounce back and get a dominating win. The team needed this win in a bad way.

And LOL at Hrudey's homerism on the Ferland fight. Ferland was mad, so it's okay to punch a guy on the ground.

Look what happens when you put Bennett on the top line and Hamilton on the PP.

Flames needed that. They looked pretty sloppy to start the game, but were much better in the 2nd and 3rd. Only 2 points back of the Ducks now. Hopefully the Flames can build on this win, stay confident, and string a few W's together.

Gillies was terrific after a shaky first few minutes.

Bennett and Johnny together is pure dynamite.

Tkachuk continues to amaze. What a player.

Hope Ferland is ok.

Do start Gillies next game or do you go back to Rittich?

Yeesh. Hope he didn't injure something in that fight with Rinaldo.

nice win for Calgary... they gotta win these games that they should be winning...

losing to Vegas on the road sucked, but honestly, wasn't a surprise...

its the 'easy' points missed, like to the oilers, that will bite them in the ass at the end of the year...

Depending on the Dallas LA game, the flames are 1 point out of both WC spots. 2 points behind 3rd PAC and 3 points behind SJ for 2nd.

Needed this one in the worst way.

Good game by the Flames - minus the the very first few minutes, but crap happens sometimes. Flames played well, didn't let up, and hopefully this is the start for them getting their mojo back. I think half the problems with this team is them just not 'feeling it'. Doesn't hurt to play some weaker teams for a stretch and get everyone going again.

Ferland is boss. Offensively talented, defensively sound, and can impact the game any way he wants. Don't know why many on here are on him for being inconsistent - he is looking like a 30 goal scorer, not a 50 goal scorer. That's pretty good.

Bennett looked good. He seems to look good when he has guys to play with. If the Flames ever get him going well, look out!

There were some terrible plays out there, defensive lapses... but this is hopefully the start to getting all that figured out and the players relaxed a bit out there.

Jankowski is incapable of scoring boring goals. What's with this kid? Even his first one - though not of the 'exciting kind' - was at least assisted by one of the all time greats. In a couple of seasons he is going to mature into a hell of an important piece for this team.

Gillies looked good (after those nerves settled). There is a lot to be hopeful about now AND in the future.
