I used to listen to a ton of audio books at my last job. Kept me from going postal cuz the place was a gong show. I listened to a lot of David Baldacci's stuff because they consistently had the same narrator every time, and he was a good listen. Baldacci audio books used to, maybe still do, add a bit of sound effects.

Same, I'm halfway through book 6 now. Just a warning for those reading or who want to get into the series though, book 4 is a bit of a slog. It's a retread in many ways of book 3 and I was worried that the writers were running out of ideas and sticking to a pattern, but book 5 is way different and much better, and runs directly into book 6
