#Habs lines:
Byron - Drouin - Lehkonen
Pacioretty - Danault - Shaw
Hudon/Da La Rose - Plekanec - Gallagher

That top line... And Galchenyuk on the 4th line as a winger...
Nothing broken here folks, nothing to worry about!

Matt Duchene makes 6 million bucks a year, so what's the point in trading for him then since Backlund is probably going to be signed for less and we'll have him for a longer term.
Colorado won't do that deal anyways, Sakic needs a win on a trade for his best asset, this wouldn't be a win.

Some interesting news: @FriedgeHNIC tells us Vegas has given Vadim Shipachyov permission to seek a trade. A few teams could use a Center

Insight from an agent, won't be surprised if Galchenyuk asks for a trade (if he hasn't done so already):
Dan Milstein-HockeyVerified account @HockeyAgent1
Alex Galchenyuk isn’t a problem but coach is. Has never successfully coached Russian. Took midseason most Russian club. All but one gone

I happen to represent Khokhlachev. Please forgive me for being outspoken but say what other agents know but won’t publicly say.

Shipachyov for Brouwer and Galchenyuk for Stajan!
Either of those guys might be good adds for the Flames. I wonder how Galchenyuk would be on the right side of a Bennett-Janko line.

Habs were sniffing around Bennett last year (I think), would probably take him to get Galchenyuk.

I'd rather keep the two that don't have any known coaching issues.

Damn does Galchenyuk need a change of scenery in the worst way.

I'd start dangling Bennett as trade bait at this point. If you can use him as the main piece to land Duchene, I think you need to take a hard look at that trade.

From Arpon Basu in the athletic...bergevin commenting on him. Also sounds like Mario Tremblay alleged he has been to detox on two separate occasions. Montreal is a viper pit between fans and press. EDIT: and GM and coach have some fangs too.

Montreal's media is incredibly toxic. Worst in the league by far
