Wait, isn't that sort of the Stampede equivalent of "I'm not racist...but".

You can say it was not malicious, and you can say that there is a difference between calling someone a ###### and saying they look like one, but the reality of it is, when you say someone looks like a ###### for doing something they think is fun, you are making a statement about that person, and saying "No offence but...." doesn't mean it's going to piss them off any less.
But see, now you're taking it out of context again. I never said no offense, because people don't say "sarcasm alert" before they say something dry, do they? Nevermind, man, have fun looking awesome this stampede week! I hope you have a really good time wearing your duds.

How do gold miners dress? I'm guessing dirty and disheveled. If so, why wouldn't they do it for Klondike Days when they do it the rest of the year?

Dude you can backpedal by saying it was sarcasm all day but JPold's post (#135) has about half a dozen examples of you sounding pretty serious about calling people out for dressing up for stampede. Including this little nugget:

Haha, Let me put it like this: Do people seriously look stupid? Yes

For future reference, clarifying your post by rewording it as an unambiguous question, explicitly stating that you are serious, and then affirming that questin with an emphatic "Yes", usually doesn't envoke a sense of sarcasm.

Dude, I was LAUGHING when I said that! I keep having this image of some decked out cowboy just raging in his cubicle with all this. It's so stupid man, let it go. You didn't get it, your feelings got hurt, you started reading the thread too late, and now you're getting a rash over it. Just stop.

And when you decide to continue arguing... remember not to. You missed the boat man, this was funny a few posts ago, but now I feel like i'm wasting my time dignifying your posts.

Speaking of just stop- I really don't think it's fair to sling a couple of more minor insults/barbs like "getting a rash" and "feelings hurt" and then tell somebody to "just stop."

I agree. I'm just sick of making the same redundant point, yet I naturally want to have the last word.

Why yes, I am dressed like a cowboy right now.

If I wasn't duded up, I wouldn't have been able to judge the bikini contest last night, or meet the Eric Francis (who seemed quite impressed with Brent Sutter, BTW)

Dressing up like a cowboy is "gay".

See, I like the shirt Eric Francis is wearing there...it's got that vintage vibe to it. To each his own I guess? I like the girl better though!
