I'm amazed how respectful rugby players are towards the officials. Hockey players would have been screaming at the ref in a similar situation.

Tough call for sure but there's audio out there where he was told multiple times to kick it. Time was even stopped and restarted.
Huge and ballsy call.
The problem now is that becomes consistency in applying the rule.

You can see his own players telling him to kick it.
####ty end to a good test, but Foley only has himself to blame.

Lowest ranked All Blacks team ever and they still win the Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup, and Freedom Cup.

I think that this last run that the ABs have encountered will only make them strong come WC time.
They have been forced to shuffle the deck and see what they have. Jordie at 12 could be a long lasting thing.

Anyone watch the opening games of the Women’s World Cup?
Some good rugby was played
Canada with a beat down in Japan, but they need to tighten their game for the bigger names

Canada has advanced to the Womens RWC semi-finals after beating the USA (again).
Shame the mens program has fallen off so hard with the split focus on 7s and 15s. But the ladies keep the pride on!

I've been loving it, my two old clubs in Alberta have 2 players a piece in the starring 15.
Canada will need to play mistake free to get back the Pommies.
Regardless of the outcome a top 4 finish in the world is impressive. Rugby Canada's ability to get the general public interested or even informed of these athletes' performance is not impressive.

That's great and there have been tonnes of good games & Canada has played some good rugby.
But I reckon lion's share of people in Canada has no idea the Women's World Cup is on or that Canada is in the Top 4.
RC has done a #### job, I've never seen it mentioned anywhere other than the normal rugby "channels"

Anyone else getting excited for the game tonight?
My two clubs have 2 starters each in the team.

Not sure if I'm necessarily excited, just because I think there's such a gap between England and Canada (I mean, it just seems like it's England, New Zealand, and everybody else with France capable of doing France things) that I'm just hoping it isn't a blowout.

Both semi-finals were an exceptional advertisement for the game.
The Women’s game has come leaps and bounds
The skill, athleticism, and brute force at the point of contact was lovely to see.
Two very very well played games by all 4 teams.
