2022 USports Football thread
Another USports football season is upon us as the Dinos host the Saskatchewan Huskies tonight at McMahon.
Dinos could be in tough to make the playoffs this season as they have a inexperienced QB under center and a young team overall.

Kickoff is always great, with an actual crowd at the game. Dinos will be in tough agains thte defending Hardy Cup champs. It does look like this is the year U of C finally rebuilds instead of just reloading.

I had Spolli with the Cowboys, glad to see him in a starting role.
I Wish the Dino's published a depth chart.
Two of the running backs Karson Moroz and Trey Loupelle I had together in my backfield with Cowboys, they're both first year so I don't think we'll see them on the field, but both are studs. Loupe has been moved to receiver though he was a dominant running back in high school

Hopefully it is a better start and they don't dig themselves such a big hole. New QB, new OC this year, the offence is going to need time to establish some rhythm

Dinos came close to pulling off a miracle comeback in Regina, but a late Hail Mary was picked off at the goal line.

I wouldn't say it was a late rally, more that the Dinos scored in garbage time.

We kinda knew this would be a rough year. They're not getting great play from their oline, and the defense is sitting on the field for way to long.

Well, the Dinos put up a pretty good fight against UBC last night, but unfortunately came up short to remain winless on the season. However, they had a pick six for a TD as well as this sensational catch.

I did my bachelor's at UofO and that Ravens v Gee Gee's rivalry is intense. Used to hang out with the Gee Gee's hockey, basketball, and football guys and the hatred is almost BOA intense!

Western ran the table in the OUA finishing with a 8-0 record. They certainly look like the team to beat again this season.
