Its funny because Diego had a much heavier accent in Rogue One or maybe its me.
I had some sympathy for the lead cop, I mean he's not corrupt, he doesn't like the idea of a cover up. He's just not very good at his job, well ok he's good at investigating, but doesn't really have the stomach for the enforcement of it, and in the end he saw his men die because of it.
Overall we see that Andor isn't all that principled. His ruthless execution of the one to cover up his involvement goes right back to Rogue One as well, and we have to remember while the Rebellion was fighting for "Freedom". They aren't exactly filled with good guys. they're as ruthless and blood thirsty as the Empire is.
I'm pretty sure that the Empire is going to see the Report on that battle and send help to tamp down what looks like the start of a rebellion.
Overall a great and gritty start to the series. Bix is the star of this thing so far. The droid is just weird man.

It was already speculated that the Vader voice work for the Obi-Wan series was done with the Respeecher tool that they used for Luke's voice in Mando and BoBF (there was credit to Respeecher in the episodes where Vader spoke).
They likely did Jones the courtesy of having him provide the reference track before Respeecher was applied or had him consult on the actual voice performer's delivery, but he's not really necessary to the process at this point and it's not likely worth the effort for him.
I'm curious about the timing of this news. Does it mean Vader will be appearing in the Andor series, or does it mean they're working on Ahsoka and Vader will be appearing in that in some way? Since Ahsoka takes place post-ROTJ, I've been expecting Ahsoka to talk to Anakin's Force ghost at some point, but any appearances of Vader would need to be flashbacks. Based on what we've seen so far, it seems that Vader and Ahsoka only ever had one face-to-face encounter and we've already seen it in Rebels.

Hayden is credited to be in Ashoka. I have no idea in what capacity though. Likely flashbacks so there might be a combo of Anakin and Vader flashbacks.
I enjoyed the first three episodes of Andor, but all the reviews calling it gritty and dark seem a bit of a stretch to me. It's still pretty clear it's Disney and not HBO.

Off topic, but knowing Hayden was in the Vader suit in Obi-Wan just felt so right.

I hate to burst your bubble, but he's actually not in the suit as much as you think. In fact, he was not in the suit for any of the fight scenes or full body shots.
Miles beyond Boba Fett. With all the dogcrap Disney has been selling us lately this seems like it will be a win for them.
Yeah I've been considering dropping Disney+ as it's hard to justify paying for the channel annually for just The Mandalorian. My boys and I really haven't enjoyed their Marvel or other Star Wars shows. I haven't started this show yet but it sounds like a winner.
