I think the best Canadian band has to be Metric. Latest album is pretty meh though. Really liked their past couple albums before this though.

I remember there was a time where you just assumed Metric was opening for whoever was playing the Mac Hall ballroom. I can only actually remember them opening for Sparta and And you will know us by the trail of the dead. I think there was one more but I can't figure it out.
