Default Spa w/sensory deprivation tank in Calgary area?

Google wasn't entirely helpful, so I thought I'd turn to CP. Is anyone here aware of a local-ish based spa that offers this service? A friend in Ohio is going to one and I'm desperate to try it out for myself. Any tips or recommendations are appreciated!

I believe there's going to be one at the Stampede grounds during the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth in July.

I've always wondered about these. From what I've read about true sensory deprivation it can be an incredibly unpleasant experience.

I just wonder if they get mad if you fall asleep and piss in the pool.

Why the desperation? Serious question, are there medical ailments that it is supposed to help?

I know Joe Rogan believes in these things as long as you are stoned at the time.

Desperate was perhaps the wrong word, as there is certainly no ailment or medical condition necessitating it. I would just really like to try one out.

Rogan is very positive on them. I am not sure he is necessarily high when he does it but the way he describes it definately makes me want to try it.

I understand the water circulates constantly and is filtered so any 'deposits' are swiftly removed.

a celebrity would never lend thier name to a second rate product and/or service - so i am off to the deprivation tank - can i read porn while in there though?

I rely on all my other senses to distract me from the constant ringing in my ears. Can't see the benefit of depriving me of those, I might go stark raving mad!

I know a guy who has something along those lines that in his basement...probably involves more leather than you'd like

I'm looking to try out a sensory deprivation tank in Calgary. Has anybody tried any of the places that offer them? They all seem to have pretty decent reviews on google.

There was one in Canmore called Float, but is shutting down end of the month I think.

If it's the same thing, there's one on Kensington Rd just east of the Shoppers Drug Mart. I think it's still there.
