what I want is for his Lordship to announce 'fair enough b**** all your #### is now mine as I'm your lord and master and by the way I want a B*** job once a week as well, on your knees serfwoman!!'
There isn't really any meaningful distinction between any of these OPCA scams (whether they call themselves "detaxers", FMOTL, lawful rebellion, etc.). They all recycle the same nonsensical arguments and use the same archaic legalistic terms to (try to) mask their unfamiliarity with the law or court processes.
Early in my career, I worked in the litigation department of a provincial government and was tasked with responding to the various OPCA letters or pleadings that would trickle in. I also used to actively post on several FMOTL forums (in the hopes that lurkers wouldn't be lead down the path to ruin by the advice being given). I used to be quite proud of the patient and diligent consideration that some Canadian courts gave to OPCA litigants (as it evidenced the fairness of our judicial system). However, now that the justice system has Meads v. Meads, I don't think any further consideration is necessary. That decision should provide ample grounds for summary dismissal of OPCA nonsense (and I always understood that was the purpose of that decision).

A B.C. family's attempt to trade in their birth certificates for access to mythic, secret bank accounts containing untold riches has prompted a scathing decision from a judge, who called their claims "incoherent, unintelligible nonsense."
Jason and Nadia Zimmer, residents of Abbotsford, B.C. — a city about 70 kilometres southeast of Vancouver — along with their daughter Taliyah, filed a petition in B.C. Supreme Court earlier this year, arguing that they were each "promised heir to the kingdom" at birth, but they have been unfairly denied their rightful property by government officials.
Their claim appears to draw on a decades-old pseudolegal scheme promoted by leaders in the Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Argument (OPCA) world, B.C. Supreme Court Justice Gary Weatherill said in a judgment posted online this week, describing it as completely devoid of any merit.

I’ll join that group. I follow municipal dysfunction and it’s part of my consulting business.
Didn’t the mayor decrease property taxes out there?
Let me know when Calgary’s clown woke mayor does that.
Calgary's property tax rate is lower than Chestermere's even after several cuts. If you think Calgary is bad check out how badly Chestermere has been managed in the past few years.
