Hey,just a quick question. With the Flames showing the game on their site, with regional restrictions. What are the regional restrictions going to be? That's not going to be Southern Alberta in the restrictions? I'm not up to par on how this works.

Mainly looking forward to seeing how Dube, Foo, Mangiapane, Valimaki, Kylington play against Winnipeg's top 6. If the Flames can keep it close and Dube puts up some points, then he's well on his way to earning a spot on the opening night roster. That would be an impressive outcome against that Jets' lineup. But this could just as easily turn out be a slaughter...I'm definitely not expecting the Flames to win tonight. Keeping the game in hand would be a victory in itself.

The official Flames broadcast region is Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
If you are in that area or can make your IP address look like it is in that area, you should be able to get the stream.
That being said some people in the past that were in the region but still whatever software the Flames use to restrict the broadcast would black them out.
So who knows.

Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. Despite the fact that the Flames rookies will be playing seasoned NHL vets, most of the Jets are just coasting and tuning up for the season. This is not the Oilers who have the NHL Pre-Season Championship on the line.

Fair point. It is likely a better indicator of who does not belong than it is an indicator of who does.

I love that they're putting Parsons into this game. In his entire life, he's never seen someone shoot the puck the way Patrik Laine can. The kid needs to know what that looks like.
