If Dillon Dube can be the next Langkow, I'd be pleased, and with the way he's been playing he definitely has the potential to be

Yeah. He's most certainly not even close to the 2nd most skilled guy on the team.
He is clearly more skilled and better than Hathaway & Lazar though.

Solid effort against a really bad Vancouver squad. Dube, Mangiapane, Valimaki, Rittich and Parson were all very good.
Kylington had a rough game. He has such a long way to climb, I don’t think he has an NHL career ahead of him

You are probably correct...but he has to prove it against NHL competition.

Oh spot on. I definitely get Langkow vibes from Dube.

He fared well up until the end of last preseason against mostly NHL player rosters. At this point, I would be more surprised if he struggled than if he thrived.

How did Healey do?
I like Buddy Robinson's physicality. Did he play well?

Its funny how different people see different things even though they are watching the same thing..
Do some just see what they want to see?
All indications are Kylington had a good game, I only saw about half of it and he looked good while I was watching.
I even saw he was on the ice for the only goal against but still saw he was in position, in front of the net, covering the open man. Leipsic came in from the other wing and made his moves to score.
I'm not saying you are wrong I just put Kylington into a group with Benny in that he is so polarizing.
I for one like him and think he can make the NHL but only time will tell.

For sure man, if by the time you turn 21 and don't make the grade of an NHL defender it's time to get that resume out to Walmart.

Four preseasons ago Bennett was lighting it up in Flames preseason. Lets not get carried away here. The competition is going to be considerably stiffer in the NHL. Considerably! I have been impressed with Dube but he won't be the first young player to impress against inferior talent only to hit the wall after a couple of weeks into the NHL season.

Wasn't Sam Bennett one of our best players, if not the best player, in last season's preseason lol. Ohhhhh classic CP.

Looked great in this one even though Foo and Poirier couldn't keep up:
Then centered Gaudreau and Ferland (a ;ine we never got to see even after Monahan went down) and lit it up:
But then come game one of the regular season GG had him centering Brouwer and a hobbled Versteeg and the rest is history.

I predict his number to be 99 or 3.14 or a Pi symbol. None will be correct.
