Default Boardroom HDMI setup

Thought I had asked this before on here but can't find original thread.

Setting up a new boardroom here soon where we want HDMI ports on the table to be connected to the projector, but have no way to run cable that doesn't include having it on the floor somehow.

So will have to use wireless route. What is everyone using? Need something quality, and something with more than one input as I have TV, laptop, etc to hook up and need to be able to switch between them.

Thanks.

Barco's Clickshare is a solid way to go wireless for computers/laptops. I deploy it to our VIP rooms/conference rooms.

If you need multiple sources to be piped to multiple displays, our environment is almost entirely Crestron. You can scale up/scale down as needed.

It all comes down to budget, and what the plans for the room are.

Do you have Drywall? No way to run cables up through the wall and then drop it down to the projector? I would do that for the cable box, and Room PC (if you have one).

For simplicity and budget sake, you can use an auto-switcher for the different sources, or, like Comix mentioned, can use a full Crestron control solution to control the different sources in the room.

For connecting laptops as people come in for their meetings, there are a bunch of wireless options to avoid the HDMI cubbies in the table:

Barco's Clickshare is an incredibly popular product that I sell a ton of:

Other options for Enterprise-grade wireless screen sharing:

WePresent with HDMI dongle (note - you need a separate power source for the dongle): http://www.wepresentwifi.com/wipg2000.html - this is cheaper than ClickShare but also no good if you want to stream video.

Crestron AirMedia: http://www.crestron.com/microsites/a...-presentations

If you have any other questions/need any help feel free to ask me

I don't know #### about the tech side of it, but clickshare is amazing. So easy and quick, no more time wasted fumbling around with cables.

Any experience with Airtame? $650+ cost though....

We don't do a lot of stuff like this, but I would like having something set up for the presentations we do have.
