I submitted a story entry for the Guinness "Passport to Party" contest, and my entry was picked as one of the top five in Calgary! (out of 22 entries!)

Here's where you all come in! On Friday, September 11th between 5 and 6PM, I will be reading my story at Fionn MacCool's (an Irish pub by Eau Claire Market I think) - 255 Barclay Parade S. W. along with the four other Calgary winners. The reaction of the crowd for each story determines who gets the prize...a weekend trip to Toronto for the finals! The winner in Toronto gets a deluxe trip to Ireland!

First though, I gotta win here! I hope you can come, enjoy some beer and MAKE SOME NOISE! Bring buddies, random dudes off the street, anybody who is willing to help cheer me on in this! I just hope at least some CP members can come!

Also, probably a good idea to get there early as the place will be packed! I will be reading anytime between 5PM and 6PM!
