Ahh okay, good. I was looking at doing NVMe RAID0 and discovered that it was going to be a waste for what performance I'd gain.

Running off the chipset, read speed suffers and write speeds are only slightly better than a single SSD.
Using an NVMe expansion card that runs off the CPU lanes gives equal read speeds, but almost double write speeds. So not really worth it unless you're doing heavy creative work.

Yeah I’m thinking about doing a mirrored stripe, but depending on performance predictions, I may just end up mirroring bigger drives vs striping and mirroring smaller drives.

On a separate note... switching back and forth between OSes is a bit of a pain. Right now I have to do FN+F11 to get into the bios boot override menu and then pick which drive to boot. Is there a more elegant way?

Would a boot loader work? I'm not sure it's been so long since I tried dual booting, my motherboard then had an easier option to choose the boot drive rather than going all the way into the BIOS screens.

I would just use EasyBCD to enable the Windows Boot Manager (first image on that page) to allow you to choose between Windows and Pop!.

Yeah I downloaded that one, but it said something about most features being disabled because Windows... something something something EFI.

Actually, I'm gonna play around with it again and see if I can't get it to work.

Edit: Or not, lol. https://neosmart.net/wiki/easybcd/uefi
