Arsenal are better this year but they still have years of spending to close the gap with Liverpool and Man City. As for Liverpool they are getting stronger and stronger and unless they lose Thursday it is very hard to see them losing the title. And if they get through Thursday unscathed I'd imagine the undefeated season talk will finally pick up.

I did.

However I thought the first 13 minutes were the best.

Banking on Spurs to help you out is the last bastion of the truly desperate.

They're both basically just asking for Divine Intervention.

Wolves played well. Even in the first half they didn't just sit back. I mean the possession was lop-sided, but they didn't purely stack the box. After Spurs went up 1-0 they did though; and particularly after half they basically showed nothing going forward and the equalizer was building. It sucks to give it up on a corner, but that's the Tottenham way this year.
Yep, wolves fully deserved it

Could tell the midfield injuries caught for spurs starting around the 60th minute, with dembele, died, and Santana all out, sissoko and winksy are the only senior CMs available. Both have played all the games lately and just has no energy 2nd half

Wolves took advantage, even without the corner, goals were coming for them

City still not out of their free fall. Is it too much to ask to have a decent title race?

it's too early to eat crow in regards to Pogba, wouldn't be surprised if this was yet another false dawn. But my god, what a difference.

if United miss top 4, it's all on Woodward for waiting too long.

Maybe he's stepping it up hoping to drive up his value so United feel compelled to sell him in January when someone might overpay. Either way they could still make top four, Chelsea have not been especially convincing of late and United look reborn. Bigger question might be can Solskjaer secure the job permanently.

why exactly would they entertain selling him in January? That makes no sense with Mourinho gone.

Because someone will offer stupid money. He's playing well but this stretch also proves he'll simply shut it down when he's not getting his way. Still not sure long term I'd want him around.

nope, Pogba is that good and Man U will keep him.

Was an obvious case of a player being misused and then scapegoated.

I’m not sure it was him shutting it down to be honest. The whole team looks better playing a more attacking style in roles more suited to their skill sets.

Mourinho had Pogba playing deeper in the midfield trying to start all the attacks and that didn’t work - look where his goals have been - in the 6 yard box finishing off the end of plays.

With Matic and Herrera playing the deeper role defensively and starting the attack now, and with a more dynamic front four consisting of Rashford, Martial, Lingard, and Pogba everyone is being played to their strengths.

Mourinho was trying to get these guys to grind out 1-0 wins instead of letting them play fluidly and attack. And I think he was almost self sabotaging himself too since he was pouting he didn’t get enough transfer money this year.

if (and that's a huge IF, with Mourinho out of the way) they entertain offers, then it'll be in the summer. No way they sell him in January.

will be interesting to see what they do in regards to the permanent manager job. Pretty obvious that they want Poch, but it's a longshot at best. ESPN wrote that Allegri would be a candidate, but that'd just show that they've learned nothing from the past weeks and months. Give me someone like Howe or Jardim instead ... or even Solskjaer, if he can keep this up. The Spurs game will tell us a lot about what this team really is.

Blatant penalty on Bailly goes uncalled, United come right back and seal the win. Considering what got called for penalties in the Liverpool game yesterday, that was an awful miss.

Back to back obviously terrible decisions going United's way to the result of a net +2 on the scoresheet? Yeah, United are definitely back.

the penalty was a clear miss. The offside was close, don't think there's a "terrible" decision there. VAR will take care of this next year.
