I never liked the orange jersey, but what really surprised me with the Adidas launch is why they went with a darker blue and a lighter orange. The contrast really stands out.

But the adidas colours are the same colours of the Oilers jerseys during the past decade, are they not? I think they all look pretty awful, but there is still some traditional grounding for the colour scheme: it's like a tribute to the halcyon days of Ryan Smyth, Shawn Horcoff, and Eric Brewer.

I saw some of these in edmonton last weekend. I assumed that dumb oiler fans had washed them with bleach or something, but I guess they were just dumb for purchasing them in the first place.

I know this is petty but in a day and age where everyone rags on the Donald about his orange complextion and calling him a Cheeto. Then the Oilers go and trot out a Cheeto jersey with pride.
It was only a few years ago when the Oilers were touting the Copper and Blue. I don't know what they are thinking changing Copper to pylon orange. It's gross. At least Philly is just orange and black.

I've been to the new arena. It's seriously overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's nice. I just thought it would be better. Oh, and the casino sucks. No craps table. Really?
