Ok Knights, time to work your magic in our favor.
Hawks, channel your 2015 selves against the Kings.

Boston gets away with a ton of things that should be penalties. The Flames don't get that kind of officiating. The McQuaid sequence was just trash.

They should be happy to even get one.

Team has a fair amount of games at home this season when they can only muster up 1 goal. Obviously, they've lost each of those.

Why is Brodie on the ice at all for 3 on 3? It should be a steady dose of Gio and Hamilton.

The bottom line is that you have to score more than 1 goal to win games.

Thought it was a pretty good game aside from the first period. Lots of chances to win it, but Rask played well just like Rittich.

I thought Boston stole the extra point.

Well earned point against arguably the best team in the league, and we're back in a playoff spot.

Excellent 3rd period, and a great effort in OT despite the loss. Now they get to go back on the road, thank god.

If they can figure out how to be prepared to start home games, they'll be in good shape. I thought after the 1st period, they went toe to toe with the Bruins and competed hard. I don't know why they can't do that for a full 60 though. So frustrating.

Rittich had an amazing rebound game today.

Flames over all got better as the game progressed.

TJ Brodies confidence has been shot to death. It's dead. I think that's the answer to the question of whats wrong with #7. In a fast game like this, even taking a split second to second guess every play you make is going to kill you. That's Brodie in a nutshell this year.

all in all, the Flames played well enough to win. cannot complain about that.

And Klimchuk was decent today in his first game.

I sincerely hope treliving goes and and shakes the roster up. i know he's fishing for players under control. said so himself the other day. now is the time.

We shoot wide a lot and hit crossbars and posts frequently too. No wonder our home shooting percentage sucks. Corsi doesn’t mean much if you can’t close the deal.

Man, not sure what game most of the posters here were watching. The Flames played a good second half of the game. They were unlucky not to win it in overtime. Bruins had several bounces go their way and barely had a quality chance in the third period.

No idea. I can almost see it if Brodie was having a good game but he wasn't.

Just pay the price and bring in another goal scorer.

A lot more playmakers (with flubbers for shots) than shooters on this team and that ratio doesn't lead to enough offense

Probably because Brodie-Gaudreu-Monahan has a habit of dominating in the OT, just like tonight. Bruins were outplayed until that breakaway.

Corsi was pretty much a 50/50 split, high def chances favoured Boston 14-10, it really wasn’t as lopsided as you think.

I agree, some extra firepower would certainly help.

To be fair, I think Brodie is one of our best 3 on 3 players, he made the great pass to Monahan to beat the Hawks in our last OT victory. You win some, you lose some in OT and we’ve been on of the best at it since it’s inception. No shame in being beaten in OT by the likely President’s Trophy champs.
