Default Flames lose 2-1 in OT to Bruins

30 wins, 30 losses. Just not good enough.

Just a dumb decision at the end there. Sighhhhhh.
I'll take the 1 point. Probably lucky to have that, although we had a great chance or 2 to end it and played well in the 3rd, but still having troubles actually finishing the chances... So frustrating!!
Rittich played real well. Flames really need to figure this thing out at home. No playoffs if they can't ASAP.

I missed the first period, just watched from the start of the second period. From what I watched, they deserved 2 points.

Brodie, trying to do too much there, just fire it on net. Ah well, still leapfrog over Anaheim into 3rd and a Rittich was spectacular again.

Was expecting a blowout loss, so I'll take a point

Classic Flames. Right down the middle. 50/50. Mediocre.

Rittich stole a point for us this afternoon, aside from Tkachuk the whole team needs to be better.

95% of seasons, real .500 (where OTL count as losses) gets you in the playoffs.

Getting a point tonight was huge.

They still need to figure out how to play a better game at home though.

Really? They were the better team second half of the game and the overtime up until the goal.

Rittich was good - too bad that they were the better team in OT and were just unlucky, that shot off the end of Rask's stick should have won it.

Ultimately again though, Frolik cost them a point with that early giveaway in front of his own net. While it was the team's overall play that made it that close and you'd like it not to matter he's cost them a few points on his own over the last handful of games with poor decision making.

Thought Brodie had a solid game. His mistakes just always seem to be catastrophic.

Frustrating game to watch. Lucky to come away with a point. We are the very definition of a middle of the pack team though so I’ll take the single point against a superior opponent.

Rittich was a treat to watch tonight. The Flames didn't deserve to win.

.500 team. I can't remember a Flame that's been instrumental in so many losses like Brodie has this season. Something has to be done. I could handle seeing him with a new coaching staff but if Gulutzan is back Brodie needs to go.

If not for Rittich game would have been lost early and late.

Glad we got the very important point, but based on the way we played in the 3rd and OT today, we chould’ve had 2.

We just don’t have enough natural finishers IMO. All season long we’ve outplayed teams like this and have made goaltenders and even backups look amazing. So many grade A chances and posts. Team needs more natural finishers and I guarantee Treliving knows that.

Hopefully the Kings and Ducks lose tonight, that’ll help.

How is it stealing a point when they were arguably the better team in the second and definitely the better one in the third and OT?
